A man found a mysterious door in the remote wilderness. This door, when opened, allowed him to travel to and from God’s garden.
He entered the door and spoke with God on many occasions. He recorded these conversations with descriptions of the garden in his journals. Finally, he made a fine painting of the door.
The book was published and widely read. The painting was hung in a museum and prints could be found on the walls in households around the world.
The man's work was taught in homes and studied in primary schools. Various degree fields concerning his work were made available at universities.
Because the people became so intimate with every stroke of the man's pen and brush, there were many who professed to understand all that what lies beyond the door. Yet very few ventured through the threshold themselves.
